Do chemical peeling is good for melasma?

Melasma is usually common in women and seen most commonly in their pregnancy and due to it, melasma is also called or known as “Mask of pregnancy”. Melasma rarely appears to men due to genes, hormonal changes, sun exposure, etc. They seem like freckle spots which then become larger and flat patches. Melasma can happen to anyone. It is a chronic skin condition which results in symmetrical, brownish, blotchy face pigmentation. This is due to overproduction of melanin by the pigment cells of the skin called melanocytes. This commonly appears on face, neck, and forearms.
