Keloid and Hypertrophic Scars - Before and After

Cutaneous injuriesn cause keloids and hypertrophic scars. An injury to the reticular skin layeris can lead to hypertrophic or keloid scarring. These scars develop during the wound healing process. A keloid scar results from the overgrowth of fibrous tissue that extends beyond the wound, and is firm, smooth and may be itchy. Wound healing includes scar tissue formation. The scar usually gets pale and flat over time, but sometimes due to tension on the healing wound, the healing area grows thicker. This is called hypertrophic scar.

Our treatments for hypertrophic and keloid scars give results, which is evident from these keloid and hypertrophic scars before and after images. In the keloid pictures before and after the treatment, you will notice that the appearance of the scar significantly reduces after treatment. Similarly, the hypertrophic scar pictures before and after will tell you that our skin treatments are equally effective in diminishing hypertrophic scarring.
