Xanthelasma Removal – Before and After Pictures

What is Xanthelasma?

A xanthelasma is a harmless yellow bump that occurs on or near the eyelid skin. It is a xanthoma or cholesterol deposit that could be semi-solid, soft or chalky. Some of the most common xanthelasma treatment options include chemical peels, Radiofrequency and surgery.

However, lifestyle changes like lowering high cholesterol levels, avoiding tobacco products, maintaining a healthy weight and controlling diabetes can also help.

Xanthelasma Causes

Some common causes of xanthelasma include diabetes, high blood pressure, and a family history of high cholesterol. Xanthelasma can occur between the ages of 20 and 70. But most patients of xanthelasma belong to the mid-30s to the mid-50s.

At Clear Skin, we provide effective xanthelasma treatment. Our dermatologists diagnose the condition to determine the appropriate treatment. The accurate diagnosis our dermatologists conduct and the various treatment options we provide, enable us to deliver effective results. These results are evident from our xanthelasma laser removal before and after photos. Take a look at them.
